About

Software Engineer & Full-Stack Developer.

I’m proficient in JavaScript and Python and have experience with client and server-side frameworks/libraries. I have a well versed understanding of RESTful API requests and relational and document-based databases. I enjoy working with the frontend using React to create single-page applications that focus on seamless user experience.

My journey has taken me from studying art and design to teaching high school science, then venturing into entrepreneurship through real estate photography, ultimately culminating in my immersion into the field of software engineering.

In my role as an educator, I became passionate about learning, honing an analytical mindset, and thinking critically. As a business owner, I developed a strong work ethic and the ability to manage ambiguity effectively while collaborating with key stakeholders. Being a photographer, I've learned to embrace criticism for growth, take pride in my work, and pay keen attention to details. Now, as a software engineer, I’ve discovered a pathway that I passionately enjoy and the perfect avenue to invest my skills and efforts.

In my free time, I enjoy photography, flying drones, and traveling with my family.
